Sterman Masser Incorporated

Business Need:

Some of the features implemented were the ability to fax confirmations to suppliers and customers from within the application, inspection pictures stored for each purchase order, adhoc reporting capabilities, current inventory calculations, and much more. To build this application, Momentum Software Solutions interviewed key staff, documented existing business processes, and designed and successfully implemented the integrated database application.

Heim's Disposal

Business Need:
Heim's Disposal had used a legacy custom developed system for their customer billing for more than 15 years. The legacy system had served its purpose at Heim's Disposal for many years, but the business had outgrown the system's capabilities. Heim's Disposal wanted to develop a new custom database solution, and most importantly, migrate the existing customer information to the new system.

Solution:
Momentum Software Solutions designed a new customer billing system which tracks customer information, driver information, route sheets, bank deposits, handles multiple billing cycles such as monthly, quarterly, and annual billing, and much more. The system also contains a suite of reports to enable the business to have instant access to their business critical data. Momentum Software Solutions also successfully converted more than 3,000 customers and their associated data records to the new system. This was quite a challenge as the legacy data was not normalized correctly and required significant data cleanup work and inventive technical consulting to complete the project successfully.

Upon the completion of the database conversion by Momentum Software Solutions, Heim's Disposal is now able to conduct day-to-day business processes in a much more efficient manner. The old cumbersome billing process is now accomplished with just a few button clicks. The new system also provides access to data reports that give insight into their current business performance. CBA Environmental Services, Inc.

Business Need:
To stay on top of their sales leads, CBA Environmental Services, Inc. wanted a system to track and analyze potential customers' information. In addition, CBA wanted to be able to produce selective mail merge Word documents and e-mail messages. CBA also had a need for new computer hardware and support.

Solution:
Momentum Software Solutions designed and implemented a custom database solution that stores and analyzes information on CBA's potential customers. Functionalities of the system include tracking correspondence with the customer, follow up reminders, mail merge capabilities, selective e-mail functions, and more. Momentum Software Solutions also successfully implemented a hardware upgrade project which included replacing a file server, implementing an automatic server backup solution, installing a firewall, and PC maintenance.
